They arrive in their serene glide to occupy the Banyan tree even though the entire district and many parts of Sri Lanka too are ‘locked down’. They are visitors with no entry visa, no immigration checks, no time limit, no shopping, but know their way back if they survive. They do not know that the world is infected with Covid 19, but they might know through their instrinct that there is something not right with the humans since late February… If only they can speak… the migrating ‘great white pelicans’ – not the silent enemy !
