5. Closure\nof cities, curfews, no go areas and red zones<\/li>
6. Fierce\ncontinued battle for global trade between Beijing and Washington <\/li>
7. The\nrest of the world made to rest or arrested in a power gamble<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

   The task for<\/strong>\nactivists, academics, theologians, cultural critics, artists, scholars and\nthose critical thinkers to reflect on the current health crisis in the light of\ntheir specific praxis and thinking. Some of us are able to actively engaged\nwith the crisis at different levels while some others will be able to help all\nof us to make sense of the mess around us. It\u2019s an act of faith, a social responsibility\nand a theological pursuit as we struggle through. Hope for people is\nfundamental.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

   What you can do<\/strong>\nwith these seven areas (of course one can add to the above litany) is to share\nsome of your thoughts, ideas, counterpoints through a system that you are most\ncomfortable with. Hence, let this A4 be considered a working paper only, while\nyour reflections be written and copied to others both in the light of the original\nlist of names in the email and the network with which you are already working. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

   All I am suggesting<\/strong>\nis that we use this quarantine period usefully and perhaps at some point we can\nmeet as an ad hoc group or the local EATWOT group to take up some areas of the local\nand the global significance of the crisis as lessons learned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

   NB:<\/strong> If this can be\ntranslated into Sinhala and Tamil if its worth, please do so and link those who\nwould like to do the same in the language they are comfortable with. If you do\nso, then go ahead and coordinate such a conversation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
